Our history
AlpineDC was founded in 2010 with the ambition of offering Swiss businesses an independent alternative for critical hosting and IP connectivity. From 2011, the first datacenter opened in Lausanne, operated directly by our teams. The network then expanded with the addition of racks in Berne in 2012, followed by Zurich in 2013, extending AlpineDC's network presence nationwide. In 2018 and 2019, two private suites were brought into service at the Crissier datacenter (BrainServe), one dedicated to high density and the other to traditional density, complementing the existing infrastructure. In 2025, AlpineDC expanded its offering with connectivity solutions based on FTTH fibre, enabling direct links between our clients' premises and our infrastructure across Switzerland.
